Outdoor training schedule -

Our outdoor schedule will continue on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:45 to 8:00.  Mondays will be at Holy Cross and Thursdays will be at The Oneida HS JV Field.  Parking for the JV field can not be past the blue maintenance building. You must walk up to the field.

Hard Fought Tie

The team played well on Sunday to earn a tie with the Rome Gladiators 3-3.  Despite some injuries, Coach Stinson's group hung in against a tough opponent to win a point.  The next game is on 3/22/09.

Time for the SYMPHONY... Saturday March 21st

Syracuse Symphony night! Music starts at 8pm and we will be meeting with someone from the Symphony at 7pm and music ends at 10pm. Carpool back to Canastota and head home.  Student tickets are $5, other tickets are $15-70.  Gentlemen should be in a jacket and tie, ladies in appropriate corresponding fashion. NO sneakers, jeans, cargo pants, hats, etc.  We need to confirm who is driving and meeting time/place for dinner before hand should you choose to do so.  Coach is going to buy the tickets on his credit card and everyone can pay him back.

New Player

We have a new player on the team - Andre a Foreign Exchange student from Brazil will be playing with us through outdoor.  Make sure to give him a big welcome when you see him (if you haven't already).  He is very excited to have found a place to play soccer while he is here.

Tournaments

We are looking into tournaments.  Are there any vacations being planned?  What weekends do you know you could not participate?  Deadlines for many tournaments are coming up soon so we need to get this on the calendar.  I have heard from Neil and Ty so far.  Graduations?  Prom? SATs? Vacations?

Raffle Tickets

Raffle tickets should have been delivered. Remember, 20 tickets per player, with a cap of 40 per family unless you would like to sell more. If you haven't received yours, please see Mrs. Banker.  There will be prizes for the top sellers.
