Incoming Colgate Men’s Player Has “Real” World Experience Jimmy McLaughlin plays for Philadelphia Union against Real Madrid Colgate and OSSC Staff Coaches Erik Ronning, Bill Boyle, Paul Stinson and Chris McLain will have the challenge (and fun!) of working with a hugely talented incoming player in Jimmy McLaughlin this fall. FC Delco player McLaughlin, who will be beginning his college career this August at Colgate University, got the chance of a lifetime to play against Real Madrid (home of Ronaldo, Kaka, Mesuit Ozil, and Iker Casillas) on July 24. This was his second appearance for Philly in international matchups; he appeared against Everton (home of US ‘Keeper, Tim Howard) earlier in July as well. McLaughlin was also featured on the blog www.brotherlygame.com where Philly Soccer is discussed, mostly focused on the Union. He discusses his college choice considerations in the interview, which may prove insightful for OSSC players who are getting started on their college search process.
