Congratulations to the U12 Girls for winning the U12 division at the Camden Summer Sensation tournament!  The girls went undefeated for the day, scoring 16 goals total with only two goals scored against them.  They played a few games in the rain, with the final game being played in a down pour with a final score of 3 to 0.  Goalies Abby LaFlair and Amanda Pawlikowski were on fire, and both played awesome games.  Coach Jenna said that she thought it was the best she had seen the girls play, and were very proud of them.  What a way to end the season !!!

Congratulations to the U19 Boys for winning the U19 Division at the Gates Soccer Tournament near Rochester this past weekend!  The Boys combined the 16 and 19 teams for the tournament and played against some very competitive teams.  The one game they lost (2-0) was to Chili which had 4 All American players, 5 high school seniors and the remainder of the team was first year college players.  This was also the team they met up with in the finals.  After a thrilling 0-0 tie at the end of regulation where both teams had their chances, they went on to two scoreless overtime periods.  The game had its share of weather delays due to the thunderstorms going through the area as well and finally came down to the Penalty kick rounds.  The first 4 of our first round players made their kicks successfully and Keeper Colin Hill was able to get some good reads on the first few balls until he was successful in saving the Chili teams 4th PK.  All that remained was for Jason Lashomb to make his PK and Odyssey would win the tournament.  Jason walked up to the PK spot, looking just as cool as can be and powerhoused a kick right down the center into the net for the championship.

Nervous about the online registration security?

The company we have hired to handle this employs a few different methods of security for our online registration process:

 1) Verified by Visa & SecureCode by MasterCard - you can find information about these two services using the following two links:

  • https://usa.visa.com/personal/secure_with_visa/verified_by_visa.html

    2) Transport Socket Layer / Secure Socket Layer (TSL / SSL) Security - This security certificate protects the entire registration process (contact info, billing info, etc.). You can learn more about TSL & SSL Security by visiting the following link:

    3) An additional step we take is to use encryption technology on the database fields that store credit card information. No one has access to see anything but the four last digits of any credit card entered into the Management System (this includes all Thriva / Active employees).
