Boys Director of Coaching, U11 Boys head coach Christenson is entering his second season as coach of the Utica College men's soccer team. Last season he led the Pioneers to a record of 5-10-2 and their first Christenson, a Rochester native, spent time playing in the Region I Olympic Development Program (ODP) for New York West. In 2003, he was invited to play for the Region I ODP team. Christenson attended Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, where he received his Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education. He helped lead the team to three national championship tournaments. After graduation, he joined the Roberts Wesleyan coaching staff where he continued to guide the programs success. For six years he has been the coach for the Fairport Soccer Club in Fairport, New York. Christenson holds United States Soccer Federation (USSF) "B" license. Prior to accepting the position as head coach, he spent two years in the Empire 8 Conference as the assistant coach of the Pioneers. He graduated in May '06 from Utica College with a Masters in Leadership & Instruction for Inclusive Classrooms. |
